After a major loft company failed to undertake the appointed loft works, Mono Ltd competitively tendered for the work and undertook the contract with a lead time of only 2 weeks, whilst simultaneously undertaking a major ground floor extension we were originally commissioned for.
The loft conversions comprised of bedroom with ensuite bathroom and dressing room, set over 2 levels, with a lower loft conversion containing shower room and utility room and roof void converted to contain boiler systems and mega flow hot water system.
The ground floor extension was comprised of a huge family living area, kitchen, home office, w/c and storage area designed to appear as the original late Edwardian garage front. The extension also had a contemporary architect designed rear elevation and extended patio area paved with slate paving continued through into the kitchen area.
Project managing the works in close collaboration with the client, under floor heating was installed through out the rear extension as well as the replacement of UPVC windows with bespoke double glazed timber windows and installation of custom made double bay window to the front of the house to replace the existing and provide a more sympathetic period feel to the property.
